We do offer to microchip your pets. These are not GPS chips, but rather owner information chips. If your pet is found and taken to a veterinarian, major pet store, or a shelter, it can be scanned and your information accessed. Being reunited with a lost pet is a huge relief.

Out of twenty pets picked by Dawson County Animal Control or found by the general public, only one is chipped.
